National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

M.B.J. is proud to share her act of kindness today. The kids at her school started a fundraiser in which students can  purchase a hand made bracelet and all of the money collected goes to cancer research.  M.B.J. was of course drawn to the bracelets but the part that makes me so proud is that she wanted to use her own money "to help support people who have cancer".  She brought in her own hard earned money  (3 dollars) to be applied to this great cause.  She tells me now every time she looks at this bracelet she will be reminded of those people she knows who have cancer and how much she loves them.

ACT OF KINDNESS #56

Have you participated in any Breast Cancer fundraisers this month?
Go out and find a way to get involved.

Military Package

AoK: #55

Our family has a good friend who is currently in Military training.  M.B.J. and I sent a large care package to her this week and in the package we sent along a bunch of treats for her to share with her crew of Military Trainees.  This brave young crew is studying and training hard to become Army Medics so we just wanted to send a big thank you to them for being so brave and working so hard!!!
