#36 and #37

Caught by surprise....

1. L.L. caught a co-worker by surprise by bringing her a package of her favorite cookies-just because!!! What a exciting surprise!!

2. N.B. took one of my Grandmother's neighbors on a "date" to Seroogys for an unexpected treat.  They spent a good hour shopping and checking out every Easter treat and sampling every chance they got.  After the candy excursion was done, N.B. offered to drive her anywhere else she needed to go.  This elderly women doesn't have easy transportation to town so this freedom was a blessing to her. They were able to hit up the grocery store and Walgreens for her daily essentials.  N.B. told me this women was so happy not to be rushed and to be able to get everything on her list in one afternoon! N.B. even hauled all of the days purchases to her friend's apartment.  The day was an unexpected blessing for both this women and N.B.

Food for thought

ACT OF KINDNESS #34:

L.L. tells me that she delivered meals to the elderly last week.  She states that the conversations were far more important than the slice of ham!!! Well said...

Back at it

ACT OF KINDNESS #33

C.H. did a wonderful act of kindness last week for some people in need. She took the time to make some of her homemade soup for two different families.  Both families were desperately needing some comfort food so I can't imagine a better gift than homemade soup from Grandma!

Yum!!! Yum!!!

Follow up story!!!

If you can recall back to our Act of Kindness #3, M.M. shared with us a wonderful experience he had with a stranger while at the checkout line of a store.  A women was buying items for a care package that was being sent to the troops.  M.M. donated some money to the cause to help cover her purchases.

Well, today in the Green Bay Press Gazette M.M. noticed a picture of a women that looked familiar. He read the article and discovered that it was the same women he had meet at the store in January.

Act of Kindness #32

M.B.J. worked very hard this morning to create a uplifting picture for 2 people that are close to our immediate family.  Both of these people need an abundance of support and love right now so M.B.J. created a spring flower masterpiece to brighten their day.

M.B.J. and her Papa Moose got a chance to hand deliver this artwork to the couple today. The gentleman is unable to drive because of serious injury he sustained so M.B.J., C.J, and Papa have volunteered to take him to and from several of his rehab appointments.  These visits have been so wonderful for my kids as they have learned so much about the power of helping those in need. They have learned to be patient, understanding, and caring towards others.  So proud of all of them!!!
