On the house!

Act Of Kindness: 44

Our family was enjoying a nice dinner at a local resturant this week and we all noticed a nice elderly gentleman at the table next to us.  He was dining alone and he didn't seem to be bothered by my noisy children.  M.M. and K.R.M. decided that a random act of kindness was in order.  M.M. found the waiter and kindly paid for this man's dinner.

Sweet Kindness

ACT OF KINDNESS #43: I received a message from M.B.J. teacher today that said...

"M.B.J. did such a kind thing today. A classmate of hers had her carpet square stolen by another classmate. The little girl was very sad she didn't have a spot in the circle. M.B.J. quickly offered up her carpet square to the little girl.  This kind act was unprompted by any of the adults in the room.  It was so refreshing to see her jump at a chance to help cheer up one of her classmates."

Simple, sweet kindness is sometimes the best in my mind. It doesn't have to cost money or be extravagant...just an easy thought can brighten someone's day.

KEEP IN MIND

Those who make compassion an essential part of
their lives find the joy of life. Kindness deepens the
spirit and produces rewards that cannot be
completely explained in words. It is an experience
more powerful than words. To become acquainted
with kindness one must be prepared to learn new
things and feel new feelings. Kindness is more than a
philosophy of the mind. It is a philosophy of the
spirit.
